His works have won numerous awards in Spain and abroad (in particular La Primera Vez ( The First Time ), which was nominated for the best short fiction film at the 16 th Goya awards in 2001). After his studies, during which he wrote and directed several short films that stood out at various festivals, he began working as an assistant director in the television sector. A director, scriptwriter and producer born in Saint-Sebastián in 1977, Borja Cobeaga first studied audiovisual communication at the University of Basque Country’s Euskampus.
